On October 10, Manitoba PNP called 194 migration applicants to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian Permanent Residence(PR) in a draw held. Those invited had a profile listed under Skilled Worker Overseas, or International Education Stream, Manitoba’s Skilled Worker in Manitoba.

This year to immigration applicants, Manitoba has now issued 6,574 Letters of Advice to Apply in these pathways.

Express Entry

In the federal Express Entry system, 24 went to candidates with a valid profile from 193 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued October 10.

Applicants who fit for the Express Entry draw are ranked based on a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score that examines some factors such as education, age, work experience, and language ability.

Through regular draws, highest-scoring applicants are invited to apply for Canadian permanent residence(PR) from the Express Entry pool.

Candidates who receive a provincial nomination are awarded 600 CRS points additionally. Moreover, they are guaranteed an invitation to apply(ITA) from Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada.

Express Entry applicants must have suitable work experience in any Manitoba’s in-demand occupations to considered for a provincial nomination from Manitoba and submit a separate expression of interest(EOI) with the Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba

A 147 Letters of Advice to Apply went to applicants with an Expression Of Interest in Skilled Worker in Manitoba Category, which gives a pathway to Canadian permanent residence for international graduates of Manitoba post-secondary educational institutions and international graduates of Manitoba post-secondary educational institutions.
